Case Study
Specialising in critical power systems, remote area power and remote area water. We service the telecommunications, mining, utilities, industrial and commercial industries.
The CPS National designed ‘Solar Cube’ is an ideal solution for medium loads located in remote locations where a reliable power supply is essential.
The SAPS R-Series are designed to provide a reliable, off-grid power source to large loads located in remote areas. The largest of the three SAPS offerings, the SAPS R-Series is a robust stand alone solution designed to completely replace the traditional mains power supply.
Designed as a power solution for utilisation within harsh, remote environments, the Nano SAPS was engineered with adaptability in mind. Outputting 240VAC, the Nano SAPS is designed to power small loads with the systems small footprint providing ease of transportation, ensuring remote area suitability.
Designed for remote applications. Using a combination of solar arrays, battery bank and optional inverter (for AC applications), the Solar Cube can be easily deployed as the complete unit includes concrete footings.
The Gilghi remote water unit uses advance filtering technology and is a breakthrough water solution. With a range of configurations the Gilghi is a simple solution to a variety of applications.
Acting as a power and communications hub, the Digital Hub is designed to support remote communities, providing community members with access to the internet, including important educational and wellbeing support that has otherwise been largely inaccessible.
By providing Advanced Analysis and Testing, coupled with Condition and Safety Monitoring, CPS are committed to ensuring your equipment operates as designed, remains in service and is statutory compliant.
Non-destructive roof top PV inspections via infrared camera mounted drones to assess the condition of your energy asset. Standard reports for ongoing measurement against baseline. IV curve tracing for actual data.
Design, manufacture and installation of custom critical power infrastructure is essential for applications that require reliable, uninterruptible power.
Telecommunications equipment typically runs on DC power which means reliability is essential. In addition, much of this equipment requires ‘clean’ DC power that has redundancy so that in an event of incoming AC failure, the equipment will continue to operate.
Once installed, a CPS National DC system with UPS is typically performing an operations critical role – a network of CPS service technicians can ensure equipment is fully functional and operating efficiently.
An Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) is typically installed to support critical equipment. Like all equipment, to ensure continuous and reliable performance, it is necessary to perform regular preventative maintenance to identify any issues before they occur.
CPS National were contracted by a major telecommunications company to undertake the design, installation and commissioning of a 50kW 48V DC power plant to support a key strategic telephone exchange site in Woolloongabba, Queensland.
CPS National were recently contracted to undertake upgrade works within a key business hub in Sydney, NSW for an Australian telecommunications provider.
CPS National were contracted by Fortescue Metals Group to design and upgrade existing DC power equipment and batteries located within FMG’s remote Radio Base Stations (RBS).
CPS National was engaged to audit, design and upgrade the PV system at a Telecommunication site in remote far north Queensland location near Weipa.
Following a failure on a critical interstate site, CPS National were recently contracted to undertake preventative work on a number of sites for an Australian telecommunications provider.
Deemed to be one of Australia’s largest and most advanced micro-grid projects, Horizon Power, Western Australia’s main grid operator has bought together a mix of gas-fired power, utility-scale solar and battery storage in the town of Onslow.
CPS National was contracted by Sydney Trains, a customer of over 20 years, to undertake an end-of-life DC power system replacement at their Penrith exchange.
CPS National were contracted by a large Australian telecommunications customer to assist in the installation of a Hybrid Solar Power System to support an upgraded telecommunications tower located within the Flinders Ranges, SA.
CPS National design and supply 15 Stand Alone Power Systems to aid transition from fixed connection to de-centralised energy generation model along the 54km Esperance feeder.
As part of a deal struck between the Victorian Government and Motorola Solutions, CPS National were charged with delivering DC power plant upgrades to 83 radio network base stations servicing Victoria’s emergency services.
CPS National undertook a range of specialist tests before and after mechanical panel cleaning was undertaken to ensure no adverse affects on SunPower solar panels
CPS National was engaged to undertake EL testing of solar PV panels that had released from their fixings under strong weather conditions during installation.
CPS National was contracted to replace an existing 100kW DC power plant with a 250kW power plant in the same location.
